These lessons are specifically for students wanting to progress on their instruments via formal grading systems and examinations. We offer exam preparation lessons for the following examination boards: AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board), ANZCA (Australia and New Zealand Cultural Arts) and VCE Music.
LEISURE CLASSES
For those wanting to learn an instrument purely for their own personal enjoyment with no real need for formal assessments.
GROUP PERFORMANCE MASTERCLASSES
Performance experience is essential for anyone studying an instrument as it assists in building confidence and motivates a student to practice more effectively and with greater purpose.
We host fortnightly performance workshops here at Absolute Music to ensure that every student has regular opportunities to perform for a small group of peers and learn essential techniques such as: performing with nerves and showmanship. We recommend our students perform a minimum of 8 times before any major performance or exam.
