WHERE IT ALL STARTED ...
Absolute Music was first established in 2000. Its founder, Stefanie Carter dreamed of opening her very own music school from a young age and after studying music intensely for many years – both in classical and contemporary styles and under several highly regarded teachers, she finally realised that dream.
The picture above was taken at Absolute Music’s first ever concert (December 2000) – held at Stefanie’s treasured home studio in Bundoora. Since then, the number of students enrolled for lessons has increased dramatically and continues to do so every year.
Today, Absolute Music is a team of exceptionally talented and enthusiastic teachers who share a common love of music and a willingness to share their skills with others. We strongly believe that it is our ability to inspire, encourage and motivate our students that sets us apart from all other music schools and our proven track record of outstanding examination results is a testimony to that.
NEW STUDIOS
At the beginning of 2017 Absolute Music officially opened a new studio in Reservoir. This marks the beginning of a new and exciting chapter at Absolute Music as we begin to expand our school.
OUR TEACHERS
Learning music involves a lot more than simply being able to read notes. Our teachers, all with backgrounds in music and many as past students of Absolute Music, are dedicated to teaching their students in a way that best suits them.
